The Facebook fan box is a small box displayed on your website or blog which allows your site visitors to like your site,post or blog directly from your blog without leaving the blog page.it enables your blog readers to:
To see how many user/friends already read or like your page
Read recent post from thew page on their Facebook's wall,
And also like the page with one click without visiting the page
To incorporate the fan box tour your blog,follow the few steps below
1. To start,you need to visit your face book fan page and copy out the page's url

From the above screenshot,the url you can see is that of http://ebima.blogspot.com/, you need to replace it with your own fan page url
2. Then visit this Facebook page http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box and paste your Fan page URL you copied earlier into the into the Facebook URL

3. Select from the option available depending on your preference
HREF This is the url of your fan page
WIDTH This is the width of the fan box in pixel,300pixel is the default
HEIGHT This depend son the number of faces shown and on whether the stream or not to display
COLOUR Only two color is available,light and dark depending om your theme
SHOWN FACES Here you indicates whether to show the faces or not of your subscribers
STREAM You specify whether to display recent posts of of your blog along the picture
HEADER Specify whether to display the Facebook title at the top of the box
4. When you are OK with the option,click on GET CODE to generate the code,then click on the xfml and thereafter the JavaScript sdk where the code will be generated.Copy the code and go to your blogger dashboard
5.On the dashboard,click on layout and the add a gadget and then add a JavaScript/html gadget
6.Paste the copied code into the gadget and save and preview your blog,the fan box should have appeared on your blog if you followed the procedure properly
